Hospital officially opened its doors in August 2002. Includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, a specialized Heart Center, Womens Center and comprehensive intensive care services. A 15,000-square-foot Medical Plaza and Outpatient Surgery Center are located next door. More than 625 area residents work with us. Physicians representing 35 medical specialties practice here. As an active member of the larger community, we sponsor free community health forums and educational programs throughout the year.

Continuous bedside cardiac and respiratory monitoring.
Central monitoring at each nursing station.
Four nursing stations to facilitate effective patient monitoring.
One private family and interdisciplinary team conference room.
ICU FACTS AT A GLANCE
Staffed at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Provide recovery care for Open Heart patients.
Provide advanced care for patients with a variety of Vascular and Cardiovascular procedures.
Utilize current technology for patient care and monitoring, including: Ventilators, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, Cardiac Output Monitors, Pulmonary Artery Catheters, Transvenous Pacers, etc.
Administer current pharmacologic interventions including titratable vasoactive medications using programmable intravenous
pumps.
Strong ICU group with team approach to care.
Safe patient lift equipment available for bariatric patients.
ICU council active in making important unit decisions.
ICU staff members are actively involved in community events such as Senior Olympics, Relay for Life and the Southern New Mexico Fair.

NURSE INCENTIVES:
Sign-on Bonus - $5,000 paid over a two year period.
Housing Bonus-$5,000 payable toward the closing cost of a new home (2-year commitment required of employee).
Retention Bonus-$1,000 paid out twice annually. Unlike a one-time sign-on bonus, nurses receive a retention bonus paid out for the entire duration of their employment.
Tuition Reimbursement-up to $2,500 paid annually toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing.
Travel Bonus-$1,000 paid quarterly to nurses that reside 50 miles or more from the hospital. $800 paid quarterly to techs that reside 50 miles or more from the hospital.
Relocation Assistance-up to $2,500 reimbursement for relocation expenses (movers, fuel, meals, and hotel expenses).
InterviewExpenses-reimbursement for the cost of traveling for the onsite interview(airfare/car rental or mileage, meals and hotel expenses).
